Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) January 09, 2014
Two businesses in Boca Raton, Florida decided to make their joint holiday party work twice as hard this year.
When Top Pro Media Group and Charles Medical Group blended their holiday parties for employees, clients, and friends, they asked revelers to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event.
More than 60 partiers attended the December 12 holiday fete, held at Top Pro Media Groups office at 5801 Congress Avenue in Boca Raton. They chatted. They ate their fill of appetizers. They raised their glasses in celebration. And they brought toys to brighten the holidays of children living with cancer.
Their gifts, ranging from dolls and workbooks to action figures and sport balls, benefited the Kids Cancer Center in Palm Beach, where eager volunteers applied festive holiday wrapping, bows, and tags in time for the Centers Breakfast With Santa on Saturday, December 21.
More than 100 childrens eyes lit with joy at the array of presents Santa brought to the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. The sleigh was sidelined for this event (not enough snow for the sleighs runners), so Santa rode in on a fire truck to preside over gift-giving, art and crafts, gingerbread cookie decorating, raffles, and good cheer.
Our toy drive was a wonderful way to share our holidays, said Aaron Feldman, co-founder of Top Pro Media Group. Partnering with Charles Media Group to invite our guests to participate in the gift of giving to such deserving youngsters gave all of us a good feeling. The Kids Cancer Center does so much for children and teens who live with cancer and their families and the Breakfast With Santa is such a special event that brings pure excitement and joy. Were proud of the outpouring of support our holiday party brought forth.
